Monitor
or troubleshoot line
problems
by simply plugging in one of the AC Line Monitors to a suitable AC
outlet. Depending on the model selected, they will automatically begin to
display
1: line frequency,
2: line voltage and
3: wiring integrity.
They will also capture and display minimum and maximum frequency and voltage
values as well as count the number of drops and surges for any length of
time monitored.
The LFM/LFVM family detects problems in AC line power,
120/240-volt step-up/step-down transformers, and back-up generators or power
supplies.
BUILT-IN
AC CIRCUIT TESTER
 The
120 volt models
(LFM-60+ and LFVM-60+) include a built-in AC circuit
tester. This tester uses a series of one red and two yellow lights to
indicate the status of the power source’s electrical wiring. The
appropriate lights will turn on and remain illuminated as long as the line
monitor remains connected to the power source.

WARNING!
Do not use the LFVM-50+ or LFVM-60+ with an AC outlet
suspected of having its hot and ground lines reversed. Doing so may damage
the instrument. If in doubt, check the wiring, or test the outlet (120VAC)
using the LFM-60+.
