The EPD-621 Portable Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge accommodates numerous materials including: aluminum, brass, cast iron, copper, steel, lead, glass and plastic.

A high contrast Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) gives measurement readings in four large (1/2") digits that are easily read. When the instrument is moved into location where ambient light is low, an automatic backlight turns on to maintain readings that are equally clear and bright. The backlight shuts off automatically when light levels are sufficient for the LCD.

VERSATILITY

With a resolution of ±.001 inches and a measurement range of .040" - 19.99" (1.00mm - 1999.9mm), along with a selection of specialized transducers and you get one of the most versatile ultrasonic thickness gauges available. Add to this a material calibration dial, a simple trim switch, an external metric/inch conversion switch and you have all the versatility you'll need to test a broad range of materials and thicknesses.
